An itinerary draft is only the start of the decision

An AI tool can help you explore China, compare possible cities and organize a first route. Paying a human planner can be useful when you want somebody to connect those ideas to your actual dates, pace and constraints. Neither a confident AI answer nor a polished human-written PDF proves that a train runs, a ticket is available or a hotel room suits your group.

The decision is which work you want help with and who will check it. LOCLYX is a China-based Chinese local team providing personalized written planning. You keep control of your bookings. Compare the output, the scope and the questions a planner asks rather than an unsupported claim that one method is always accurate.

Where an AI draft can help

Some tools can browse current pages; others answer from stored knowledge. Check what the tool actually consulted. An answer without a date, provider or source can be a useful lead, but should not become the basis of a non-refundable booking.

Five checks the finished route still needs

Check that the place matches the recommendation

Confirm the current name, location, opening information and any reservation requirements. A restaurant recommendation also needs to fit your food preferences, budget and the neighborhood you will actually be in. Local knowledge can inform the choice; it does not mean somebody personally visited every recommended venue this week.

Verify dated access and ticket conditions

Use the attraction or ticket provider for operating dates, admissions and booking rules. Do not infer availability from a general guide. A plan should explain what to book and identify an alternative when an important stop is unavailable; it is not a ticket confirmation.

Test the timing against your group

Look beyond the attraction list. Add travel, queueing, meals, rest and the effort of each hotel change. Crowd advice is a planning judgment that may change with weather, holidays and actual demand. A route should work when the second stop is dropped, rather than require every minute to go perfectly.

Make the last part of the journey usable

Specify the exact station, entrance, destination address and arrival plan. A city name or generic map pin is not enough when a station has several exits or a hotel entrance is on another street. Verify essential step-free access with the operator; a route description is not an accessibility guarantee.

Check the constraints behind the suggestion

Does the plan account for children’s ages, luggage, food needs, walking tolerance and arrival fatigue? Does it distinguish a recommendation from something already booked? These questions matter regardless of who generated the first draft.

What to ask a local planner to take responsibility for

Judge those commitments against the sample and published service terms. Do not assume a planner promises unlimited changes, round-the-clock assistance, first-hand testing of every recommendation or a refund for every change of preference.

If you are unsure whether a written itinerary fits the help you need, ask LOCLYX about the planning scope before ordering. Tell us the route decision you are trying to make; bookings, guiding and emergency response are separate from this service.

This is a service comparison, not a measured accuracy or time-saving benchmark. It does not establish that every human plan is better or that every AI draft is unsuitable.

Choose according to the work you want to keep

DIY may fit when you enjoy the checking

You have a relatively simple route, time to examine provider requirements and enough flexibility to revise the plan yourself. An AI draft can be one research tool alongside current official information and your own judgment.

Consider paid planning when decisions remain disconnected

You have several cities, fixed dates, different needs within the group or a short window that makes a bad transfer costly. The useful purchase is a route adapted to those constraints, not a bigger list of famous sights.

Inspect the practical detail before paying

Read the DIY and local-planning comparison and the custom itinerary decision guide. Ask what remains your responsibility and whether the sample contains the level of detail you need. Your own brief is the basis of the plan.

What you receive from LOCLYX

LOCLYX is a China-based local team. We tailor a written travel plan to your dates, budget, interests, pace and practical constraints. The planning fee is $19.9 per travel day; flights, hotels, trains, tickets, meals and other travel purchases are paid separately. We provide planning only: we do not make reservations, supply ground services or act as your tour guide.

The initial plan is delivered within 48 hours of successful payment. Your outbound flight from home must be at least 48 hours away. Up to three revisions expire at the start of your home-origin departure date (earliest possible start if the departure country spans time zones; see your exact deadline in My LOCLYX). For cancellation, refund and revision conditions, read the published policy that applies to your order.

Inspect the complete 136-page, 10-day sample and price and inclusions before you submit your travel brief. The sample is an anonymized real delivery showing the route, practical details and backup options. Your own plan is tailored to your brief; the sample does not promise a particular travel outcome.
