FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about planning your trip with LOCLYX.
What exactly do I receive?
A structured PDF document — typically 30-60 pages — covering your full trip day-by-day, plus the China Survival Guide and Local Hidden Tips. You can download, print, or view on any device. Each itinerary includes hourly timelines, exact transport details (mode, duration, cost in USD & RMB), restaurant recommendations with photo menus, crowd-avoidance strategies, and backup options for every major activity.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is within 48 hours. If we miss the delivery window, your itinerary is free — that’s our 48-hour guarantee. Most plans are actually delivered in 24-36 hours.
Do you cover all cities in China?
We cover every major city and most tier-2 cities across China, plus popular routes including the Silk Road, Yunnan circuit, Tibet, and Zhangjiajie. If your destination isn’t listed in our form, select “Custom” and we’ll confirm availability within 4 hours. Our experts are located in 30+ cities nationwide.
How is this different from a free AI chatbot itinerary?
AI chatbots generate generic, surface-level suggestions scraped from public travel blogs. LOCLYX plans are built by real people living in China who know which subway exit to take, when to avoid tourist traps, and which local noodle shop is worth the queue. AI cannot tell you that Exit B of Xizhimen Station closes at 10pm, or that the best light at the Great Wall is at 7:15am in October. Our planners have thousands of on-the-ground hours — AI has zero.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. We have a full 5-day Beijing sample itinerary available — it shows you exactly the level of detail, structure, and quality you’ll receive, including hourly timelines, survival guide preview, and local hidden tips.
How much does it cost?
$19.9 /day. A 5-day trip is $99.5, 10 days is $199, and 15 days is $298.5. This is a one-time payment for your complete itinerary PDF. No hidden fees, no commissions, no upselling. Traditional travel agencies charge $50-200/day. We sit in the sweet spot: real human expertise at an accessible price.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. For visitors already in China, we also accept Alipay and WeChat Pay. All transactions are processed securely via PayPal.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes — see our full Refund & Revision Policy. In short: every order includes up to 3 free revisions. Full refunds apply only before work begins, or if we fail to deliver your itinerary. Each itinerary is handcrafted by local travel experts — real humans who live in the cities they plan for you.
Can I get revisions after receiving my plan?
Every plan includes 3 free revisions before your departure. We iterate until you’re completely confident. Minor adjustments (restaurant swap, timing tweak) are typically turned around within 4 hours. Major route changes may take up to 24 hours.
Do you book flights, hotels, or train tickets?
No. We design the optimal route and tell you exactly which flights, trains, and hotels to book — with direct booking links and estimated costs. You handle bookings yourself. This keeps us unbiased (no hotel commissions) and transparent (you see real prices, not marked-up agency rates).
Do you offer on-the-ground support during my trip?
We provide 24/7 WhatsApp support throughout your trip. We will respond to you and resolve your issue within two hours.
What if I’m a first-time China visitor?
Perfect. Most of our clients are first-timers. Our plans are designed specifically to eliminate uncertainty — Chinese addresses in characters, pinyin phrasebook, WeChat/Alipay setup guide, eSIM recommendations, and a full China Survival Guide. You don’t need to be an experienced traveler; you just need to show up.
How do you handle dietary restrictions?
We handle all common restrictions: vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free, allergies, and religious dietary requirements. Every restaurant recommendation in your itinerary is filtered by your dietary needs. We also include Chinese-language cards explaining your restrictions — just show them to the chef.
What if my flight is delayed and I miss a day?
Your plan includes buffer time between activities so a few hours of delay won’t break your day. If a significant change is needed, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll adjust the affected day’s itinerary within hours. This is covered under your 3 free revisions.
Is LOCLYX a Chinese company?
We are an international team with operations in China and a globally-minded mission. Our planners are mostly Chinese nationals who have also traveled extensively abroad. Our customer-facing operations are in English.
How can I contact you?
